Postdoc
Dr. Anja Schaich is a postdoctoral researcher in our lab. She is a trained psychologist and licensed supervisor (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Schema Therapy). She is especially interested in ways to improve treatment effectiveness by integrating insights from basic research on sleep and memory into psychotherapy research. Currently, she is examining the impact of memory reactivation during sleep on the effectiveness of trauma-focused therapy in patients with severe post-traumatic stress disorder. In addition, she is leading a study comparing the effectiveness of Metacognitive Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for sleep disorders in severely affected outpatients with comorbid conditions.
